28-year-old Washington man leaves trail of damage in New Jersey
FORT LEE, N.J. – According to the authorities, 28-year-old Miguel Guera who was driving under the influence of alcohol ran over a light pole, a street sign, a flood light, several bushes and a parking meter before he was stopped by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey police on the George Washington Bridge.
On Sunday at about 5 a.m., Guera was pulled over by the police after they observed that his vehicle had 2 flat tires and extensive damage; the vehicle’s roof was also crushed.
Investigators soon learnt that Guera had been involved in several accidents in Fort Lee shortly before he was pulled over, said Port Authority police spokesman Joe Pentangelo.
Police charged Guero for driving while intoxicated and numerous motor vehicle violations.
A phone number for Brown could not be found Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t confirmed if he had an attorney or not.
