Man Charged With DUI For Sleeping In Car At Mcdonald’s Drive-Thru
According to a report by WTAE.com, police in Connecticut said that they were called to a McDonald’s drive-thru around 1:30 a.m. because a man had fallen asleep in his motor vehicle in the drive-thru lane.
When the officers approached the scene, they found a 41-year-old man sitting up in the driver’s seat of his truck and sleeping.
McDonald’s workers told the police officers that they’d been unable to wake him after he’d ordered 4 cheeseburgers and fallen asleep.
He’d been sleeping for almost 15 minutes by the time police officers woke him up, when they said that the man attempted to give money for the burgers he had ordered.
After knowing that he was under the influence of alcohol, police took him into custody and charged him with DUI.
It is not confirmed if he ate the burgers before sleeping or not.
