New Jersey DUI Lawyer Discusses Receiving Community Service for DWI Offenses
Many times as an experienced New Jersey DUI Lawyer, I am often asked if community service is required if convicted of a DWI. A DWI in New Jersey on a first offense does not require community service. However, a second offense does require community service. That would be part of a sentence after plea or trial if someone is found guilty, so simply be aware that if you have a second offense DWI, if you’re found guilty or plead guilty, you will be required to perform community service.
