NJ state troopers plan DUI checkpoint outside country concert
It was decided by the New Jersey state troopers to conduct a sobriety checkpoint on Sunday night outside a country music concert at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel Township.
A news release issued by the state police showed that the checkpoint will begin at 8 p.m. and troopers will stop vehicles going out of the center and entering Garden State Parkway south to check the drivers if they are intoxicated.
According to Ticketmaster’s website, Country singer Luke Bryan will bring his “That’s My Kind of Night” tour to the Arts Center beginning at 7 p.m.
Police are suggesting the people who are planning to go to the concert to designate a driver if they plan to consume alcohol, rather than taking the risk of driving. “It’s not worth getting arrested, hurting yourself, or hurting someone you love. Plan ahead and enjoy the concert safely”.
