Oxford woman charged with drunk driving and resisting arrest
WASHINGTON TWP. – On Friday, 31st of December, Janine Difiglia was charged for driving under the influence and resisting arrest after her car was pulled over as she was driving at high speed on Route 46.
Around 6:53 p.m., Officer Scott Myers was on patrol when he saw her speeding and then driving too close to another vehicle on East Avenue, so Myers pulled her over and found that she was driving under the influence. She argued with the officer and she was also not cooperating with the officer. She was taken to the police headquarters where she was charged with multiple charges and released to a family member.
Police charged her with speeding, tailgating, driving under the influence, refusing to submit to a breath sample for an intoxication test, reckless driving and resisting arrest.
