Ramiro Beteta of Glassboro wanted for drunk driving
WOODBURY – 26-year-old Ramiro Beteta is wanted by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office as he was summoned to court on a charge of DUI and driving a motor vehicle with a suspended license but he didn’t appear in court.
Ramiro Beteta is wanted because police found him driving under the influence in a 2012 motor vehicle stop. On 29th of July 2012, police officer saw Beteta striking the curb with both passenger-side tires punctured. The police officers asked him to stop but he didn’t stop and reportedly pulled into a driveway on Delsea Drive. The officer told that Beteta was not able to stand, and was using his vehicle to balance himself because he was drunk and he was staggering. The officer said that he smelled a strong odor of alcohol on him. During the investigation, Beteta told the officer that he had no driver’s license and was unaware of the two punctured tires.
A breath sample was taken and the result showed that Beteta’s blood-alcohol level was above the legal limit.
According to the police, Ramiro Beteta’s height is five feet and six inches and his weight is 145 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. The prosecutor’s office also said that he can go by the fake name “Ramiro B. Alavez” or “Roberto Martines”.
